Friday Fill-Ins #129

1. All children alarm their parents if only because you are forever expecting something unexpected and/or bad to happen.
2. Show me a good loser and I will show you a person who truly knows how to have fun!
3. Nothing is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqueurs at one time. (I'm just guessing... I've never done it myself.)
4. Too bad that all the people who know how to run the country are busy doing... I don't know - what is John McCain doing? ;) and retiring.
5. I have yet to hear a man ask for advice on how to combine a dirty clothes hamper and dirty clothes.
6. It is impossible to think of any good meal, no matter how plain or elegant, without a decadent dessert accompanying it or spices and/or sea salt in it.
7. And as for this weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to DH coming home, tomorrow my plans include sleeping in as long as Gidget will let me, and Sunday, I want to spend time with my family.

10 Things You'd Bring on a Deserted Island

"10 Things You Bring on a Deserted Island"
1. MacGyver (he'll know how to make the best of everything we find on the island).

2. My husband.

3. My daughter.

4. Solar powered computer.

5. 2000 Gallons of sunblock (SPF 50+) that does not expire.

6. A fully staffed cruiseship.

7. A small boat to get back and forth to the cruiseship.

8. Some kind of wheelchair that would work on an island...hmmm...or maybe one of those cushy chairs that the Egyptian pharaohs were carried around in. Of course, I would need 4 strong cabana boys to carry me around. I'm going to have to give this one a little more thought. I'm not sure the cabana boys and my husband would get along well.

9. Matches. Lots and lots of matches.

10. A supply ship that would automatically bring food and water on the first of every month.

Sunday Sing-Along

Heaven sounds sweeter all the time!!!!

"You Wouldn't Cry"
by Mandisa

All you saw was pain -
All you saw was rain,
But you should see me now!
Moments filled with tears -
Lasted all those years,
Disappeared somehow.
You never said goodbye -
On your knees you cry;
You're still asking 'why', but

(Chorus)
Blue has never been bluer;
True has never been truer!
Honey never tasted so sweet -
There's a song in the breeze,
A million voices in praise!
A rose has never smelled redder;
The sun has never been brighter!
If I could find the right words to say -
If you could look at my face,
If you could just see this place!
You wouldn't cry for me today!

What you think you see
Isn't really me;
I'm already Home!
You've got to lay it down
'Cause Jesus holds me now
And I am not alone!
Your faith is wearing thin -
But I am watching Him
And He's holding you, too, and

(Chorus)

What may seem like years will just be a moment.
Oh, that day will come when I'll show you where you're going -
I can't wait to show you that!

(Chorus)

10 Favorite Things to Do During “Me” Time

10 Favorite Things to Do During "Me" Time
(Just what is "Me" time??? LOL!)

1. Take a long, hot shower (while sitting on my shower stool, of course) and listen to some relaxing music.

2. Watch a sappy chick flick in the dark with a bowl of popcorn on my lap and a box of tissues in reach.

3. Sleep!!! I like to turn my sound box on to the ocean setting, crank up the A/C, and curl up under my covers. Ahhh... a good nap sounds good right now!

4. Go online and price vacations that I'll never be able to afford.

5. Brainstorm about ways to come up with more "Me" time.

6. Shop online through Ebates.com and earn cash back for buying things that I had to buy anyway! They have the stores on there that I shop at anyway! (If you sign up using my e-mail address, both you and I get $5.00 for FREE you make your first purchase. End of commercial.)

7. Turn off the lights, turn on some soft, relaxing music, light my hydrangea scented candle, and just chill in my chair.

8. Cuddle with my sweetheart.

9. Cuddle with my baby girl.

10. Go to Disney World! (Hey, it's my "Me" time, right?!)
