Sunday Sing-Along & A Good Laugh

I've posted 2 videos. One is a song for Wendy. She's having Spiritual battles, & I pray this encourages her.

The other is the best laugh I've had in a while. It's for Denise. I believe I laugh & cry with her more than anyone I know...& we've never even met! She's Probably seen it, but I bet she laughs again anyway!

For Wendy:

"Life is Hard, but God is Good"

For Denise:

"Tim Hawkins: My Favorite Bible Verse"

Webster Redefines Marriage

Webster Redefines Marriage

In 2003, the Merriam-Webster company, which has been publishing dictionaries since 1847, added a secondary definition for marriage, which included same sex couples. Only this week did the change gain national attention. According to a press release from Merriam-Webster, quoted by the Associated Press, "The edited entry merely reflected the frequency with which the term 'same-sex marriage' had popped up in print and become part of the general lexicon. Its inclusion was a simple matter of providing dictionary users with accurate information about all of the word's current uses."

The current definition of marriage found in the Merriam-Webster dictionary is: (1): "The state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law (2): the state of being united to a person of the same sex in a relationship like that of a traditional marriage (same-sex marriage)." [FoxNews.com]
Noah Webster would never have allowed his name to be associated with this! "His 1828 American Dictionary contained the greatest number of Biblical definitions given in any reference volume." [Wikipedia]
Just another sign of the times...

Personalized MS Treatment

Hmmm...this sounds hopeful. I like the idea of it being personalized to your own body! After all, MS affects everyone differently.

"Clinical trials of Tovaxin, a personalized vaccine against multiple sclerosis, have shown that the therapy can improve visual impairment within six months of beginning treatment. The therapy also decreased annual relapse rate and improved disability in trial participants with the most active MS.Tovaxin is created by isolating the T-cells within a patient's blood that react to myelin, replicating them, then reinserting them into the body as a vaccine. The goal is for the patient's immune system to attack not only the cells in the vaccine, but all other T-cells in the body that react to myelin, essentially stopping the immune response in MS and allowing the body to heal."
